E-mail Forwarding in Shared Web Hosting
If you have a shared web hosting package with our company and you set up email addresses inside your account, you will be able to forward it with just a couple of clicks to any other e-mail address of your choosing. The option can be activated when you make a new email address or at any time later and disabled just as quickly any time you change your mind. This can be done through the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you will control your account. You will also have the option to choose whether a backup of the inbound e-mails will stay on our servers or not. The main advantage of this feature is basically that you will always have a copy on your end if anything occurs with the other email address or maybe it's not active for reasons unknown during the time an e-mail message is forwarded. In case the option is not active, an e-mail will be received, forwarded and erased from our servers even if the remote e-mail address is functioning or not, so it is actually a wise decision to have it enabled just to be prepared.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from our company, it will take simply a couple of mouse clicks in the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward any of the email addresses created on our end to a third-party address. Inside the very same area you will additionally be able to see how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and where the inbound messages are going. It is easy to activate or deactivate a forwarding account at any time and during the process you can also decide whether a backup copy of the email messages has to be kept in our system or not. Although this option isn't a requirement, it is quite helpful because you will have a backup copy of the messages on our end in case that something occurs with the third-party mailbox. Even if they have a momentary issue, you run the risk of losing emails as once our system gets and forwards an email, nothing will be maintained on our end if you haven’t selected a backup to be maintained.
